First Android Builder Summit Announced

The Android Builder Summit, to be announced by the Linux Foundation on Wednesday, February 16, will bring together OEMs, device makers, systems builders and kernel community to collaborate on the Android platform.
This new event, the Android Builder Summit (ABS), will take place in San Francisco on April 13-14, 2011 and is co-located at the Hotel Kabuki with the 2011 Embedded Linux Conference. The Android Builder Summit is open to all.
Summit topics will include: custom builds, alternative middleware, network functionality extensions, Peer to Peer frameworks, USB device support, security, unification of power management, tools and hybrid Android devices and more. Proposals for summit sessions can also be submitted as well.
In addition to the talks, The Linux Foundation is offering is the newly announced Android Training classes as well.
Android OEMs and Device manufacturers and integrators, Android Custom Builders, and those wanting to bring Android to new market segments as well as Android and Linux Kernel developer communities should attend this event.
