O'Reilly announces early registration for OSCON, OSCON Data, and OSCON Java is now open. OSCON Data and OSCON Java are scheduled for July 25-27, while OSCON runs the entire week of July 25-29, 2011, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
O'Reilly's Open Source Conference (OSCON), now in its thirteenth year, has added two new co-located conferences this year—OSCON Data and OSCON Java—and early registration is now open for all three events; however, individuals wanting to take advantage of the early registration pricing must do so before June 6, 2011.
In addition to the early registration pricing, if participants are alumni to OSCON or any other O'Reilly conference those attendees can save 30% off registration pricing through May 10, 2011.
According to O'Reilly, "OSCON is where all of the pieces come together: developers, innovators, businesspeople, and investors. In the early days, this trailblazing O’Reilly event was focused on changing mainstream business thinking and practices; today OSCON is about how the close partnership between business and the open source community is building the future. That future is everywhere you look."
OSCON keynotes speakers include personalities such as Jono Bacon, Ubuntu Community Manager at Canonical, Paul Fenwick, Managing Director at Perl Training Australia, and David Recordon, Senior Open Programs Manager at Facebook.
Participants to this years OSCON will have over 20 tracks to choose from which cover a wide range of topics such as Mobile Platforms, Open Data, Open Hardware, Programming, Business, Community and Geek Lifestyle.
More information about registration for OSCON, OSCON Java and OSCON Data can be found on the OSCON website.
