Power User's Guide to Unity
With less than one week until the release of Ubuntu 11.04, Jorge Castro of the Ubuntu community team decided to compile "The Power User's Guide to Unity" which answers many questions and offers users various howto videos, FAQs, information on lenses and more in one easy to find location.
In regards to what Unity offers end users, Castro said, "I believe new users will enjoy the look and feel of the simplified desktop while advanced users will appreciate the integrated search and workspace features and all users will benefit from the continuous user testing on the interface. Ubuntu 11.04 offers users a modern desktop environment that works on modern hardware, yet still provides a Linux solution for users who want and need to use older hardware."
